Radicava
Radicava is indicated for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Radicava is the only FDA-approved treatment option for ALS shown to slow the loss of physical function, as measured by the ALS Functional Rating Scale–Revised (ALSFRS-R).
Administration Information
Radicava is an ongoing treatment for ALS. For the first cycle, Radicava is infused for 14 days, followed by a 14-day drug-free period. Subsequent cycles are infused for 10 days within a 14-day period, followed by a 14-day drug-free period.
Two 30 mg IV bags will be infused (60 mg total). It takes about 60 minutes to receive a full dose of Radicava.

Potential Side Effects
The most common side effects of Radicava include bruising (contusion), problems walking (gait disturbance), and headache. Radicava may cause serious side effects, including hypersensitivity (allergic) reactions and sulfite allergic reactions.
