Tezspire is administered as a subcutaneous injection once every 4 weeks. An observation period may be required following administration of your injection.
Potential Side Effects
The most common side effects of Tezspire include pharyngitis, arthralgia (joint pain), and back pain.
Tezspire can cause serious side effects including hypersensitivity reactions such as a rash and/or allergic conjunctivitis. These reactions can occur within hours or may have a delayed onset where symptoms could develop days after your injection.
Avoid abrupt reduction or discontinuation of systemic and/or inhaled corticosteroids. A reduction in your corticosteroid dose could be associated with systemic withdrawal symptoms and/or worsen conditions previously suppressed by systemic corticosteroid therapy. Your doctor may decrease corticosteroids gradually, when deemed appropriate.
For a full list of potential side effects, please see the Important Safety Information and Medication Guide on the Tezspire website.
